Relationship coaching provides help in many different areas of relationships. It includes romantic relationships, family relationships, and friendships.
In addition, I include and have had great success with clients needing to have a positive relation with their boss and/or co-workers.
Relationship counseling is not marriage counseling nor grief counseling. However, some of the same emotions and elements may be included as we come upon them. Again, it is important to know I tailor my coaching to the needs of my clients. Most of the time, it is not just the initial situation that is presented that needs work.
I listen carefully and openly and most of the time the client and I discover other facts of their life in the STUCK background. Relationship coaching is one of the widest areas of need. It includes:
- Respect for others
- Communication skills
- Empathy (Not getting out of control)
- Developing and maintain some fun and humor in your life
A question from one of my office staff is “How do your clients come in looking sad and stressed and leave with a smile and laughing.
My answer is they did, and I did in partnership with them WHAT WE HAD SET OUT TO DO AND TOGETHER WE DID IT WELL!
